All districts in Andhra to have airports

GUNTUR: Andhra Pradesh government has decided to set up at least one airport in all the districts of the state. All the 23 districts would have an airport.

According to the union civil aviation authority rules, a minimum of 150 kms of distance is to be maintained between two airports, said Mr M V Ramana Rao, State Airports Minister.

Replying to a query he said that some private entrepreneurs are willing to operate air services along with the airports in close proximity. - PTI
