Delhi govt declares poll day as public holiday

NEW DELHI: Delhi Government has declared a holiday on Saturday when the national Capital goes to the polls to elect a new assembly.

Lt Governor of Delhi Tejinder Khanna issued a notification declaring November 29 as a public holiday in all government offices, local bodies under Delhi Government on account of assembly elections in the capital, an official release said. There are 1,07 ,22,887 voters, including 4.28 lakh teen-aged electorate, in the capital. - PTI
