The bottomless pit of large projects
THE largest public construction project currently in the US is in Boston, Massachusetts and is popularly known as the `Big Dig.' The purpose of the project is to construct an approximately two-km tunnel in a busy part of town so that the existing overhea d highway can be pushed underground.
