Kshema bags $0.5 m order
BANGALORE: Kshema Technologies, the Bangalore-based software solutions provider, has bagged a half-a-million-dollar contract from ADC Telecom, a global supplier of fibre optics, networking equipment, software and integration services for broadband, multi
-service networks.
Kshema Technologies will be developing broadband access and network management products for ADC's Broadband Access & Transmission Group (BATG). The company is also setting up two new lab facilities for undertaking these projects.
Mr Anant Koppar, President and CEO, Kshema Technologies, said that the tie-up with ADC will consolidate the company's presence in the fast growing communications infrastructure domain.
It will also provide an excellent opportunity for Kshema's engineers to continue working on cutting edge technologies, he said.
Kshema has some 70 engineers working in the communications infrastructure domain. It is also undertaking projects from multiple ADC groups located on the east and west coasts of US and Canada.
ADC is outsourcing its requirements from India for the first time. It has also tied up with another Indian company for outsourcing solutions for the BATG, said Mr Sonny Rao, Director, Offshore Software Development, ADC. -- Our Bureau
