With the Centre conferring industry status on the movie sector, film-makers can get loans from financial institutions (FIs)/banks. Considering the high-risk factors associated with film production, and the none-too-transparent transactions, it will be di fficult for the producers to convince the FIs/banks even when their project is feasible.
