Tanker hits Kochi gantry berth fender
CLOSE on the heels of a collision of an oil tanker at the South Tanker berth of the Kochi port while berthing, another vessel was involved in a similar incident on Thursday, when it hit in one of the fenders of the gantry berth while anchoring at the con tainer terminal.

Foreign airlines keen to raise cargo space
A NUMBER of foreign airlines such as Alitalia, British Airways, SwissAir, KLM, Aeroflot and Lufthansa Cargo have expressed their willingness to increase their cargo capacity from India during the latter part of 2000-2001.
