Dr Reddy's unveils new corporate identity

MUMBAI, April 27
DR Reddy's Laboratories Ltd (DRL), which recently tapped the overseas capital market with its American Depository Shares (ADS) offering and got listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), has unveiled its new corporate identity and philosophy -- Life,
Research, Hope.
Speaking on the occasion, the DRL Chairman, Dr K. Anji Reddy, said the new identity highlights the company's ethos -- a caring organisation that leverages its expertise in research for a healthier life.
Addressing a gathering of representatives of financial institutions, banks, financial intermediaries, major customers, analysts and journalists, Dr Reddy said the Indian healthcare would take on global dimensions in the years to come.
``It is time for the industry to realign focus on innovative research and development to provide affordable life saving drugs. We are pushing limits to pioneer new drugs that the world needs to heal and renew hope in life. We are all set to spread our wi
ngs further and touch more lives across the globe'', Dr Reddy said.
Unveiling the DRL's new corporate identity, the Director-General of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Dr Raghunath A. Mashelkar, stressed the need for innovative and original research that would positively impact human life.
