DGS call to tap luxury line sector potential
THE Director General of Shipping, Mr D.T. Joseph, has called upon the Government to take urgent steps to promote Indian entrepreneurship into the lucrative cruise line sector which is presently dominated by foreign flag vessels on Indian waters.

SER accelerates 50 mail/express trains
SOUTH Eastern Railway (SER), for the convenience of the travelling public, has accelerated 50 important mail/express trains. According an official release issued here, the journey time of all these trains has been reduced from 5 minutes to 1 hour and 50 minutes, with effect from July 1, 2001.
