AP farmers' jury rejects Vision 2020 programme
PRAJATEERPU, people's verdict, delivered by a 19-member farmers jury, has rejected the Vision 2020 scenario put forward by the Andhra Pradesh Government and also the export-based cash crop model of organic production.

Market development aid for tea
THE Union Commerce Ministry has decided to extend the Market Development Assistance (MDA) scheme to the tea industry to enable it to tap new markets and develop the existing ones. This was stated by Mr Probir Sengupta, Union Commerce Secretary, at the 11 8th annual general meeting of Indian Tea Association (ITA).
