Kotak Mahindra online test for AMFI programme

Our Bureau

KOLKATA, July 12

KOTAK Mahindra Mutual Fund has worked out an online test to enable interested parties to assess how well they are prepared to handle the certification programme run by the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).

The test will be different from the actual AMFI programme meant for distributors and employees of funds, according to Kotak Mahindra MF sources. No candidate, on successful completion of the test, will be `certified', add the sources.

Candidates will have two hours to tackle 65 questions. The test will be of 100 marks, and a candidate will be required to score at least 60 to pass. For each question, an incorrect answer would lead to deduction of 25 per cent of the marks allotted to th e query concerned.

The subjects of the test would be as per the Amfi workbook, edition 2000, the MF has stated.
