IN an initiative that could well become a harbinger of partnerships with private industry, the Science and Technology Entrepreneurs Park (STEP) of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP), has joined hands with Aditya Biotech Pvt Ltd for a
medicinal plantation project at Gopali near here. With this, STEP (IIT-KGP) has achieved the distinction of being the first one, out of 16 located across the country, to take such an initiative.
