Adhunik Metaliks gets Govt approval for mining

MUMBAI: Adhunik Metaliks Ltd on Monday said it has received final approval from the Ministry of Environment & Forests for diversion of forest land in Keonjhar district of Orissa for mining of iron ore out of its captive mine.

With this, all approvals required for mining lease execution are completed by the company, Adhunik Metaliks said in a filing to the BSE.

“Once mining lease is executed with the State Government, the company will start iron ore excavation,” it added.

Shares of Adhunik Metaliks rose 4.29 per cent and were trading at Rs 100.90 in the afternoon trade on the BSE. — PTI
