Corporate Seshasayee bags 'Star of Italian Solidarity' award NEW DELHI: The Hinduja Group company, Ashok Leyland's Managing Director Mr R Seshasayee has been honoured by the Italian government for his contribution towards strengthening economic and social relations between the country and India. "The prestigious decoration - Ordine di Stella Della Solidarieta' Italiana (Star of Italian Solidarity) - is a honour conferred upon people whose work has contributed in strengthening of economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between Italy and oth er countries," the commercial vehicle maker said in a statement. Seshasayee was awarded with the 'Star of Italian Solidarity' for his contribution to the enhancement of commercial and industrial ties between Italy and India, it added. Besides serving as the Managing Director of Ashok Leyland, Mr Seshasayee is also the the Executive Vice Chairman of Hinduja Automotive Ltd and the Non-Executive Chairman of IndusInd Bank. - PTI
