Orchid gets USFDA nod for migraine drug

MUMBAI: Drug firm Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals on Thursday said it has received final US regulatory approval for its drug Sumatriptan Succinate tablets used for the treatment of migraine attacks.

The company has received final US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) approval, Orchid Chemicals said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The approval of Sumatriptan Succinate tablets are in the strengths of 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg. - PTI
