JAIPUR: Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has given Scope Award to Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited for the year 2006-7 in 'smaller public sector enterprise' category.

REIL's MD Mr M M Bhardwaj received this award on behalf of the PSU, according to its spokesman here on Friday.

Acknowledging commendable efforts made by REIL in evolving focus on rural development, a silver trophy with a certificate “Scope Award of Excellence and Outstanding Contribution to the public sector Management” was presented.

REIL has completed 28 years in service rendering services and products in areas of electronics, renewable energy, IT, and industrial electronics. - PTI
