Corporate Max India Jt MD resigns NEW DELHI: Max India Ltd said on Saturday that its Joint Managing Director Mr B Anantharaman has resigned from the company, effective June 30. " Ananth had expressed his desire to pursue alternate options to fulfill his career aspirations and had been in discussion with me for some time regarding his plans. To that extent, there is adequate preparedness in place relating to relinquishing his re sponsibility in June end," said Max India Chairman Mr Analjit Singh. "Joining the company in February 2001, Ananth has played a major and significant role working closely with me in building the new businesses of Max," Mr Singh said. "The Board and I sincerely appreciate the very valuable contribution made by Ananth during his tenure with the company and wish him well in his new endeavours", he added. The stock market listed firm is also engaged in other businesses, which includes plastic products for the packaging industry and healthcare staffing. - PTI
