Corporate KEC International bags Rs 470-cr order MUMBAI: Power transmission company KEC International on Thursday said it has bagged orders aggregating Rs 470 crore from West Asia and Africa to design, engineer and supply power distribution equipment. The company has bagged orders from clients in Saudi Arabia and Chad for construction and supply of power distribution equipment, KEC International said in a filing to BSE. The company has bagged the first order worth Rs 300 crore from Saudi Electricity Company for the construction of a power transmission line in Riyadh. It has bagged another order worth Rs 100 crore from the Ministry of Water & Electricity, Saudi Arabia, for construction of a transmission line, the filing added. Further, the company has bagged an order worth Rs 70 crore from Chad, Africa, to supply power distribution equipment. Shares of KEC International were on Thursday trading at Rs 594 on BSE, up 1.03 per cent from previous close. — PTI
