Commodities Gur remains steady in thin trade NEW DELHI: There was no change in the pattern of trading in the wholesale jaggery market on Saturday as prices by and large moved in a restricted range on alternate bouts of trading before ending at last levels. Marketmen said lack of worthwhile buying activity against adequate stocks kept prices unchanged. Muzzafar Nagar and Murad Nagar gur markets too pegged on last closing levels on little buying. Following are today’s quotations in Rs per quintal: Chakku Rs 2,600-2,800, Pedi Rs 2,600-2,700 and Dhayya 2,650-2,700, Shakkar Rs 2,800-2,900. In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2250-2300, Chakku Rs 2,500-2,700 and Khurpa 2250-2300. In Muradnagar: Pedi 2,375-2,425 and Dhaya 2,450-2500. - PTI
