Global News / Markets Nikkei higher MUMBAI: Japanese share prices rose 0.51 per cent on Thursday, heading for a third straight daily gain. The benchmark Nikkei-225 index added 49.81 points to 9,849.41. The broader Topix index climbed 4.11 points, or 0.46 per cent, to 889.80.
