US markets down

MUMBAI: The US stock markets fell on Thursday. Brokers said the fall was led by IT and banking stocks.

The Dow Jones industrial average went down 120.40 points to end at 12,302.46. The Standard & Poor's 500 index fell 15.37 points to finish at 1,325.76. The Nasdaq index shed 43.53 points to close at 2,280.83.
