Deepak Lalwani joins UKIBC

LONDON: Mr Deepak N Lalwani, Director-India, Astaire & Partners Ltd, a London-based stockbroker agency, has joined the executive board of the UK-India Business Council (UKIBC).

Lauding the UKIBC for promoting business and investment between India and Britain Mr Lalwani said: “I feel honoured to be part of such a high profile team and to continue to serve the worthy cause of enhancing UK-India business relations and trade. I ha ve contributed to the India story with passion for over 13 years through my India Reports. I have also had the privilege to chair events, panels and give lectures on the unfolding India story to investors all across the UK,” he said.

Welcoming him to the Board, UKIBC CEO Mr Sharon Bamford said: “The UK-India Business Council is delighted that Mr Deepak has joined the board. His insight coupled with his passion for India will prove invaluable as we take the organisation to the next le vel.” – PTI
