NEW DELHI: MphasiS on Friday announced the appointment of Mr Ganesh Murthy as its chief financial officer. Mr Murthy takes over from Mr Susanto Banerjee, who has decided to pursue opportunities outside the company, MphasiS said in a statement.

MphasiS added that Mr Murthy's appointment, who has been acting as interim CFO since January 2008, is effective July 15, 2009. Mr Murthy has worked across diverse industries like FMCG, consumer durable industry and IT in companies like Wipro, Texas Instr uments, Gillette, ITC and Thomson.

“I am delighted to have Ganesh Murthy on board. His diverse experience will be instrumental in helping MphasiS grow and differentiate itself in the marketplace,” MphasiS Chief Executive Officer Mr Ganesh Ayyar said. - PTI
