3i Infotech to offer service to media & broadcasting cos

MUMBAI: IT firm 3i Infotech on Monday said it will offer services to companies engaged in the media and broadcasting industry in the country.

“The company will offer a unique value proposition to media and broadcasting companies with best-of-breed products from leading global media and broadcast solution vendors,'' 3i Infotech said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The company would offer its services in the field of media consultancy services, system integration services and integrated media solutions, it further said.

As a system integrator for the media and broadcasting industry, 3i Infotech has partnered with global technology leaders including Apple, VNS, Kramer Electronics and Comsat, the IT firm said.

“We are delighted to venture into a contemporary market such as the media and broadcasting space, which needs intensive IT and system integration support,'' 3i Infotech Executive Director & President, South Asia, Anirudh Praabhakaran said.

Shares of 3i Infotech were trading at Rs 84.10, down 0.41 per cent in the afternoon trade on the BSE. - PTI
