TCS completes Citigroup Global Services’ buy

MUMBAI: Software major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced on Wednesday that it has completed the acquisition of Citigroup Inc’s stake in Citigroup Global Services Ltd, a BPO company for a total cash consideration of $512 million.

In addition, Citi has signed an agreement with TCS for process outsourcing services to be provided to Citi and its affiliates for an aggregate amount of $2.5 billion over a period of nine-and-half years.
