MUMBAI: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) recorded a net profit of Rs 221.10 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared with Rs 255.23 crore reported during the same quarter in 2007.

Total income for the quarter has increased to R 3,175.45 crore from Rs 2,758.83 crore in the year-ago period.

For the year ended March 31, 2008, the company has shown a net profit of Rs 1,103.37 crore (Rs 1,087.58 crore) on a total income of Rs 11,671.64 crore (Rs 10,221.24 crore)
