No need to take any hedge against dollar, says CFO, 3i Infotech

MUMBAI: When asked about the impact of dollar weakness against the rupee, Mr. Amar Chintopanth, Executive Director and CFO, 3i Infotech replied that the company has a fairly even distribution of revenues and costs across geographies and currencies. Its b usiness from the US constitutes about 28% of the total business with the other geographies/currencies constituting the other 72%. There is therefore a natural hedge and hence we have not felt the need to take any hedging positions on the US dollar."
