•  Siemens targets 12 pc growth in Asia-Pacific
EVEN as the mobile phone handset market faces a year of flat growth in Europe and the US, Siemens is targeting a growth rate of 25 per cent in the Asia-Pacific market this year.

MEDIA Lab Asia, established in India by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in association with the Union IT Ministry, is most likely to have the structure of a company.

PENTAMEDIA Graphics Limited, an animation and special effects software firm, plans to bring in strategic investors to the various subsidiaries of the company ``to spur better value and growth,'' a notice to shareholders says.

•  Pentagon Global net zooms 380 pc
THE Chennai-based Pentagon Global Solutions Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 8.09 crore on a turnover of Rs 35.95 crore for the year ended March 31, 2001, compared to a net profit of Rs 1.68 crore on a turnover of Rs 7.21 crore last year. This represe nts an increase of over 380 per cent in net profit.

QUESTECH India Ltd, a Bangalore-based e-solutions provider, is planning to expand into the North American market. It is scouting for a local partner to set up an office either in the US or Canada, according to Mr A.V.Bhaskar, CEO, Questech India.

GLOBSYN Technologies Ltd (GTL), a Delhi-based software solutions and training company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Knowledge Workers Exchange (KWX), a Malaysian Government-owned company, for forming a joint venture company to impa rt software training to the Malaysian Government employees.

INFOTECH Enterprises Ltd (IEL), the Hyderabad-based software solutions company specialising in geographic information systems (GIS), has announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with E&M Co Ltd, a Tokyo-based software services com pany, to serve as Infotech's exclusive marketing partner in Japan.
