Sending e-mail

I have an account with Yahoo and am using Outlook Express to receive and send e-mails. Whenever I press the send and receive button, Outlook first downloads e-mail from Yahoo.com and thereafter sends the e-mails after a long time.

However, when I send e-mails from the tools menu, it gives the following error: The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was `skranjan2000@yahoo.com'. Subject Account: `pop.mail.yahoo.com ', Server: `smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: `521 yahoo.com closing transmission channel. You must be pop- authenticated before you can use this SMTP server, and you must use your yahoo mail address for the Sender/From field.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 521, Error Number: 0x800CCC78 Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Please suggest a solution.

This is only a temporary problem with the outgoing (SMTP) mail server authenticating your e-mail address. To fix it, you just need to try again later.
