Startup trouble

I have Win 98 installed in my PC. Everytime I start the computer, the following message appears: ``Cannot find the file Cfgwiz31.exe or one of its components. After clicking ok could not load or run Cfgwiz31.exe specified in win.ini file. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the win.ini file.''

I reinstalled Win 98 but the problem persists. Please suggest a solution.

Murali

The problem appears because the system is not able to find the file Cfgwiz31.exe. The solution is that you reinstall Win 98, but not from the CD from which you installed it earlier. Try to install it from another CD because this one may be corrupted.
