Sahara increases Delhi-Mumbai frequency

NEW DELHI, Nov. 8
AIR Sahara has increased its daily frequency between Delhi and Mumbai from two to five flights each way from today.
In a statement, the airline said apart from the choice of flights, the traveller can also choose from different fares, menus, reservation options and check-in options.
``The passenger can choose the timing of their flights from the five flights, besides normal booking channels, the passenger can simply log on and book online. Furthermore the passenger can choose from eight fare options, can check in at their convenience from five options and choose from a variety of 20 menu options,'' the airline has said.
Among the eight fare options available include the `weekend' option which is available only on return tickets brought at any time for a price of Rs 4,700. However, travel has to be on a Saturday or Sunday.
Besides, there is the `return' option which is priced at Rs 5,200 and is available only on the return ticket, allowing the passenger the option of travelling any time.
Furthermore, there is the `choice' option priced at Rs 5,500 which allows the passengers to travel on any flight at any time and the `premium' option valued at Rs 5,700 which apart from allowing travel on any day and any flight also provides a car for eight hours or 80 km.
The airline has also introduced the concept of `Royal excursion' which is available only a return ticket which can be brought any time for Rs 8,400.
The 20 meal options include Indian (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), Thai (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), French (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), ovo lacto vegetarian meal (fruit platter) and low sodium meal (child platter).
Among the check-in being offered by the airline includes city check-in for passengers with hand bags (up to three hours before departure), online check-in (with hand bags through Internet), tele check-in (by telephone 30 minutes before departure with hand baggage) and SMS check-in (check in confirmation by message or mobile).
