SAS Cargo to cut fuel surcharge

NEW DELHI, Dec. 7

SAS Cargo is to eliminate the fuel surcharge of 10 US cents per kg or equivalent in local currency from December 20 this year. In a statement SAS Cargo said that the removal of fuel surcharge would apply on all kinds of air cargo transportation throughout the worldwide network.

The statement adds that with oil prices declining worldwide over the last month, and with the fuel price index now being 110 for two consecutive weeks, it has decided to withdraw the surcharge.
