Jan. 2: Setco Automotive Ltd acquires the US manufacturing facility of Haldex Brake Products Corporation USA through its subsidiary Setco Automotive N.A. Inc in Paris, Tennessee.

Auto component maker Federal-Mogul Goetze India Ltd says promoter Mr Anil Nanda has sold 2.85 per cent stake in an open market transaction.

Jan. 3: NGC buries differences with Essar Oil and agrees to sign the product sharing contract for the Ratna-R-series deepwater offshore oilfields.

Jan. 4: Wellspring, the chain of pathology laboratories and diagnostic centres promoted by Nicholas Piramal India Ltd, acquires radiology and imaging centre Jankharia Imaging for an undisclosed sum.

DaimlerChrysler signs an MoU with the Maharashtra Government to set up a new manufacturing facility in Chakan MIDC area, Pune, to manufacture the C-class, E-class and S-class vehicles.
