Ashok Leyland - Outcome of Board Meeting
Ashok Leyland Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 08, 2008, inter alia, Mr. Vinod K Dasari, the Chief Operating Officer of the Company, has been appointed as Additional Director on the Board of Directors of the Company and, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General meeting, as Wholetime Director of the Company.Mr. R Seshasayee, Managing Director, whose term of office was due to expire on May 31, 2009, has been re-appointed as Managing Director for three years from April 01, 2008 to March 31, 2011, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
