Allahabad Bank has informed BSE that Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services vide notification dated May 08, 2008 nominated Dr. Shakeel Uz Zaman Ansari, as part time non-official Director on the Board of Directors of the Bank w.e.f. May 08, 2008 for a period of three years from the date of notification and / or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
