For rainy days

PENTAIR INC has launched Rainsource, a pressure rainwater harvesting system. It is claimed to require 80 per cent less space than the conventional gravity pit filter systems. It requires a siltation pit to facilitate storage and sedimentation of water before it is pumped into the ground. Also, these filters can be put in combination with an existing tube-well/bore-well so as to recharge water into the same bore. It is available in four models and priced between Rs 71,500 and Rs 1,07,000 (exclusive of taxes).
