PHILIPS INDIA has launched widescreen televisions in India. The widescreen technology is reportedly meant to offer the full cinematic experience, in comparison with a conventional television that only displays one-third of the actual picture display. It is also equipped with Philip's patented Pixel Plus and Digital Natural Motion technologies which reportedly create sharper images and more natural colours. It is priced at Rs 1,44,990 and is available at all the Philips exclusive (Philips Arenas) stores and selected consumer electronics outlets across the country.
