New Products & Services Milky way
AMRIT FOODS has launched zero-bacteria Gagan ultra-heat treated (UHT) milk in cardboard packs. The milk will be available in one-litre aseptic packs and is supposed to be specially processed premium quality milk that can be transported and stored without refrigeration. It reportedly retains its natural taste and has a shelf life of over four months. The company has also used the direct steam infusion system to complement the UHT process, which supposedly helps to retain the natural taste of the milk even after re-heating. The product is priced at Rs 25 for a one-litre pack.
