USHA SHRIRAM has launched Watersoft Max. This product, to be used as an attachment to the overhead tank, claims to soften water. Also available is a smaller variant, Watersoft, which can be attached to the water purifier in the kitchen. Watersoft Max and Watersoft can be recharged with simple salt solution and do not require electricity. Available in capacities of 1,000 litres, 2,000 litres or 3,000 litres, Watersoft Max is priced at Rs 27,000 onwards while Watersoft is priced at for Rs 2,495.
