SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT has launched a new version of PlayStation2 called SCPH-70000. While the basic functions and design philosophy of the original PlayStation 2 remain, the new model is slimmer and lightweight. It is reportedly equipped with an integrated Ethernet port for network gaming.
