BLAUPUNKT has launched the ODA Surround Amplifier, a part of the OD series. It is a Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic decoder with an integrated five-channel surround amplifier. It is supplied with an infrared touch screen remote control. The Dolby Digital/DTS audio decoder reportedly uses advanced digital technology — Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Sound for cinema-quality sound production. The product is also provided with Dolby Prologic I for surround sound from analogue sources such as cassettes and CDs. It also consists of OD loudspeakers and sub-woofers.
