SAR SILICON SYSTEMS has launched its `luminous reverse osmosis water purifier.' The RO membrane of the water purifier with a "six-stage purifying process" is claimed to remove dissolved impurities such as salts, pesticides, heavy metals and harmful chemicals from water. The purifier, which costs Rs 8,999, is meant to convert hard water into soft water. Also, the tank is reportedly pre-pressurised, pre-disinfected and totally enclosed so as to prevent contamination.
