SONY has introduced the Sony Network Walkman series, including the NW-E100, NW-E500 and NW-HD5, in India. The first two are flash memory MP3 Walkmans while the NW-HD5 is part of the hard disk player range. The E100 and E500 series are said to offer up to 40 and 50 hours of playback, respectively. The NW-HD5 offers 40 hours of playback on a single charge, enabling the storage of up to 13,000 songs. The E100 series is available at a price range of Rs 6,990 - Rs 8,990; the E500 series costs between Rs 9,990 and Rs 12,990 while the HD5 model is available for Rs 19,990.
