ADVANCED MEDICAL Optics has announced the launch of Complete Moisture Plus, a multi-purpose contact lens solution. Its two moisturisers, electrolytes and multifunctional taurine, reportedly ensure not only `spa rejuvenation' for the lenses but complete well being for the eyes. Propylene glycol, one of the moisturising agents, penetrates the lens matrix and binds moisture inside it for maximum lubrication. The other, HPMC-hydroxy propyle methyl cellulose, coats the lens surface sealing the moisture within. It is now available at all leading optical outlets and drug stores in the country.
