New Products & Services E-bike
R. K. Rim has launched Matrix, India's first battery-operated electric bike. The two-wheeler reportedly does not require any licence, registration and insurance requirements. It has a carrying capacity of 100-150 kg. The absence of an engine below the seat allows for a luggage compartment, which can carry all daily necessities including a helmet. It takes about two units of electricity to fully charge the battery. `Matrix' can cover 100 km in a single charge. It is available in four colours. It is priced at around Rs 29,000 ex-showroom.
