Suryaflame Green Label brand LP gas stoves will be marketed by Indian Oil Corporation across the country. The stoves will be available at all the 5,000 Indane gas distribution centres, covering rural and urban areas throughout India. The product gives 68 per cent thermal efficiency which is higher than the ordinary gas stoves, it is claimed. The stove is certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards and is capable of saving 15 per cent LP gas, according to PCRA statistics. They are available in three variants ranging from Rs 1,395 to Rs 2,195.
