Panasonic Sales & Services India has launched the Envio range of air- conditioners with an active e-ion air purifying system. This four-stage system is priced between Rs 32,000 and Rs 48,000 (depending on capacity). It reportedly discharges e-ions to inactivate/capture all the dirt particles and claims to clean the entire room of dust, mould, bacteria and viruses.
