Padmini Essentia has launched an ISI-marked automatic instant gas geyser. The water supply is linked to the gas supply. Turning the water tap on or off activates or de-activates the heater and thus the LPG supply. It comes with a one-year warranty at Rs 3,499 onwards and is available across the country. Around 6,000 litres of water can be heated with one 14.2 kg cylinder, which makes it 70 per cent cheaper than using electricity, it is claimed.
