AVI of Italy has launched air-conditioners in India. They reportedly use R407 gas, which is claimed to be environment-friendly. These ACs are portable. Available in major cities in capacities between 0.8 tonne and two tonnes, they are priced Rs 12,500 to Rs 31,500.
