Marico has launched Saffola Functional Food for Diabetics. It contains soluble fibre to help slow the absorption of sugar in the body. The contents have to be added to flour before making rotis , bhakri, khakra, thepla and other such dishes. The product contains ingredients such as Bengal gram, psyllium husk and fenugreek. It is available in select outlets in all major towns and is priced at Rs 129 for a 459 gm pack. Also available in a 935 gm jar and a 935 gm carton.
