Sony Ericsson has launched its first made-in-India mobile phone, the R300 radio phone. It is targeted at the rapidly growing music-loving segment in small towns . This new handset comes with a radio-inspired design with volume boosters for clarity o f sound in noisy environments.

Along with the FM frequency, this model also supportsAM frequencies.

Available in two colours — Antique Copper and Steel Black — R300 is priced at Rs 4,395.
